A native of Hawaii, Franklin Kana’e Farinas received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration, School of Travel Industry Management Degree (BBA) from the University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus. He was the recipient of the Hawaii Hotel Association scholastic scholarship and a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity.  Franklin completed his internship at the Royal Hawaiian and Ilikai Hotels.  He was the youngest person to hold a management position in the hotel industry as Reservations Manager at the Imperial Hawaii Hotel. 

Franklin began his real estate career with Laniloa Realty, the lead agent for Mott-Smith Laniloa one of Hawaii’s premier condominium developments.  He later became the Sales Manager/Construction Manager for Rainbow Place a mid-rise development in Kaimuki.

Migrating to Los Angeles in the 1980’s Franklin found himself as the doors of Jon Douglas Company, predecessor of Coldwell Banker where he became involved in it’s New Homes & Condominium Division.  Having marketed more than 40 projects and 900 units Franklin has the unique experience of understanding buyer’s and seller’s wants and needs, and has gained invaluable knowledge of condominiums and townhomes in the Los Angeles communities of Westwood, Brentwood, West Los Angeles and the cities of Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Culver City among others.

Franklin is an Associate Broker and holds the prestigious National Association of Realtors “Graduate Realtor’s Institute” designation as well as Senior Director, New Homes Division.  He is also a Certified Specialist with Cartus Global Relocation Management and has represented clients from America’s major corporations as well as those in military service.

While condominiums and townhomes are Franklin’s specialty he also represents clients of single family homes, income and commercial properties.
